Biographical Sketch

Liad Ruimi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Ofakim – University of Haifa Honors Program, with highest honor. Liad is now a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Haifa, and was awarded a President's Scholarship to support his doctoral training and research. During his undergraduate studies, Liad took part in several research studies that shaped his main interests in clinical research combined with cognitive science. His primary research interests include: Meta-Awareness and Consciousness, Emotional Attention and Attentional Bias, the measurement of meta-awareness as a mechanism underlying emotional attention, and Internal Attention. Liad also has a strong interest in teaching, and he's a TA in several psychology-related courses (e.g., Experimental Psychology and Research Methods, Statistics and SPSS, Psychopathology).
